Another Week Ends in Lightning Speed

Weeks are getting over in a blink of an eye! This week we had a few submissions. Starting with discussion lesson olans, followed by Joju sir's note preparation and finally Reading and Reflection.

This week we were supposed to begin our presentations but we needed more time to prepare. So, Joju sir continued with Bloom's taxonomy.

In Ancy ma'am's class, English, Social Science and us presented our discussion reports on education commissions.

In Giby ma'am class we learnt about 'Forgetting theory'. Finally, in Maya ma'am's class we selectedvour practicum topics and completed our discussion on Buddhism and moved onto British education in India.

Looks like our classes will restadt from Oct 4th, don't know how everything is going to come about.

Day 30 of Online Classes

Today the day began with Joju sir's class and the physical science association continued with their seminar. We were introduced to the software 'Hot Potatoes', which can be used to make online quizzes. If I had known this earlier I would have used it for 'Mathletics'. The topic was handled by Ancy and Gayathri of Physical science association and they did a great job. Later we had Ancy ma'am's class where we discussed about social change. Ma'am made us switch on our cameras to take a group photo. It felt good too see many faces after a long time.

Sports Meet 2022

Finally, the day is here. We've been scheduling the sports meet for quite some meet. It had to be postponed due to unexpected rains and finally, it was conducted on Sep 12 and 13 soon after the Onam holidays. We had shotput, javelin throw, 50m, 100 m etc. The involvement and participation in the second years were a little low compared to the first years. Events like shot put, javelin throw, 50 m race etc had good participation. The selection of students for the finals of each event was done on the first day. The finals followed by prize distribution were done on the second day. I was supposed to run the100m race but had to pull out due to previous complications in my leg injury. But I got to participate in the march past which was totally unexpected. By the end of the day, we were dead tired from the scorching sun, but it was all worth it.

Day 23 of Online Classes

Today the first hour was allotted for Deepthi ma'am. During the hour ma'am gave us an introduction to Lesson Plan writing and the different components of 'Content Analysis'. For the past one month we've been doing the content analysis for class 8 and class 9. Till now we've completed class 8 and the class 9 submission is coming up. Moreover, we are planning our association inauguration on Monday. So, its preparation has been in full swing. Later, we had Joju sir's class where Social Science association started their presentation.
