Eid mubarak!

I don't know, is it just me or does anyone else feel like these days time is flying ? This week again we only had four working days as it was Bakrid on Wednesday. In Ancy ma'am's class we were divided optional wise for group discussion. The Malayalam optionals were the first to do their presentation on 'The University Education Commission'. They did a detailed study on the topic and the presentation was short and informative. In Joju sir's class we finally decided on the topic for our tool creation. Joju sir always makes it a point to include some current events in his class. This way students who are unaware of theses events will be curious to read more on it. In Giby ma'am's class we learned about the reasoning, especially inductive and deductive reasoning. I never forced myself to think about these two reasonings beyond Maths. As ma'am and few of the students shared their thoughts, I began to realize that each and every thought or principle in ou

Documentary Days🎞

This week we only had four working days since 15th July was Ivanios Day. Also, 15th July was the: last day to submit our documentaries. Aby was the perfect partner to do this task, his editing skills definitely enhanced our work. You can check it out on : All of them did a great job in narration, presentation, visuals etc. This week in Ancy ma'am's class we had a discussion on the 'Evolution of Education System in India' and how the current education system came into effect. In Maya ma'am's class we delved into 'Communication' and the importance of effective communication in the classroom. Also, we ha a small 30 minute test from our first semester portions to check our time management. In Giby ma'am's hour, we went through 'Principles of Perception' , metacognition, mindfulness, neuroplasticity and the types of thinking. In the optional hours we discussed about the upcoming submissions and also inquiry model based lesson plan.

There goes another week!⚡

The week started with Giby ma'am 's class. We learned about delusion, illusion and hallucination and their difference. Often we interchange these terms in real life. As each class passes by I am surprised at how much a teacher can make and break a child's mind. We often focus on parents but teachers can also help a great deal. Also, ma'am mentioned the Tamil movie 'Psycho' in her class and I took it as an assignment and watched it on Monday😁.   In Ancy ma'am's class we had a small test on the unit from psychology. We moved on to philosophy and continued with the 'Apex Bodies' in the Indian education system and some of the fundamental rights of education. Joju sir gave detailed lectures on the different types of questions one can use to set question papers and the advantages and disadvantages of each each one. In the optional hours, we discussed about the 'Inquiry Training Model' and soon we'll be writing a lesson plan based on this.
