Relaxed and Chilled!

This week we had a really long weekend. I consider it as a 'break between breaks' since we all have been attending these online classes, a long weekend doesn't feel special at all. Anyhow we had an eventful week. It began with our 'Reading and Reflection' presentations on Wednesday. Archana began it with her short and sweet presentation on G.H Hardy's '. I also had my presentation this week. Put of this week's book, I was compelled to read,  ' The Man Who Knew Infinity' by Robert Kanigel after Aswathy's detailed presentation.  In Joju sir's class we continued with our discussions and in Maya ma'am's classes we discussed about 'Population Education'. In Giby ma'am's class we learnt about types of learning.

Getting Closer to Offline Classes

Another week goes by, this week was kicked off by presentation on the ' Current Evaluation System' by the English association in Joju sir's class. In Ancy ma'am's classes we had rest of our discussions on education commission of India followed by a small test. In Giby ma'am's class we started with the next unit of learning. In Maya ma'am class we discussed one of the most relevant topics in education, 'Inclusive Education and Ways to Implement it'. This week's optional hours were interesting since we had our 'reading and reflection' presentations. Each book was different and everyone did a great job in presenting it.

Another Week Ends in Lightning Speed

Weeks are getting over in a blink of an eye! This week we had a few submissions. Starting with discussion lesson olans, followed by Joju sir's note preparation and finally Reading and Reflection. This week we were supposed to begin our presentations but we needed more time to prepare. So, Joju sir continued with Bloom's taxonomy. In Ancy ma'am's class, English, Social Science and us presented our discussion reports on education commissions. In Giby ma'am class we learnt about 'Forgetting theory'. Finally, in Maya ma'am's class we selectedvour practicum topics and completed our discussion on Buddhism and moved onto British education in India. Looks like our classes will restadt from Oct 4th, don't know how everything is going to come about.

Be more, Do more and Have more

The words in the title belongs to Ron Malhotra but it was introduced to us by Joju sir in this week's class. And just like that we are back to online classes after a long break. It was quite an eventful couple of weeks, we had our model exams, submissions, exams and finally Onam@🏡  with loved ones. The week kickstarted with Ancy ma'am's 'warm up' class. We didn't start any new topic but ma'am helped to set the tone for our upcoming classes. The most learned subject of the week was Psychology. Since, Ancy ma'am couldn't teach her classes due to some inconvenience, Giby ma'am got ahead with the portions. The topic of ' 'Remembering & Forgetting' introduced us to a lot of techniques to improve memory. Moreover ma'am did a fun exercise where each one of us shared certain 'shortcuts' to remember difficult facts. I think those shortcuts can easily equip one to write government exams.  In philosophy, we dealt with Buddhism
